The safety control units allow you to connect and control various safety components for machines. The SF-C10 series is specially designed for connection and control of Panasonic light curtains, while the safety control unit SF-C21 can be used for all kind of safety devices like safety switches, emergency switches, enable grip switches, safety beam sensors, safety scanners, or safety light curtains.
SF2C Safety Light Curtain
Ultra-slim safety light curtain with LED indicators, Type 2
The compact safety light curtains with a thickness of only 13.2mm come in an ultra light polycarbonate enclosure. They are available as a hand protection type with a beam pitch of 20mm, allowing you to detect objects as small as 25mm in diameter. The light curtains are delivered with a 3-meter cable and mounting brackets (MS-SFC-1).

SF4B Safety Light Curtain
Safety light curtains, type 4, PLe
More the 40 different models and modular expandability characterize the SF4B series. The compact safety light curtains, type 4 according to EN 61496-1 /-2 and performance level PLe according to EN ISO 13849, are available in 3 different beam pitches (10mm, 20mm und 40mm) and in numerous sensing heights. The series continues to stand out with its flexibility and wide range of accessories.

SF4B-C Safety Light Curtain
Type 4 - compact safety light curtain
The compact safety light curtains with a thickness of only 20 x 27.4mm come with an ultra light housing. The combination of a plastic body with a metal inner frame is designed to minimize weight while at the same time increasing the toughness. The SF4B-C series is available as a hand protection type with a beam pitch of 20mm, allowing you to detect objects with a diameter as small as 25mm.

The ultra-slim size and shape of the SF4C series (thinnest product in the industry with 13mm!!) allow it to fit efficiently into small machinery while maximizing the usable working space for the equipment operator.

To complete the large range of safety-related solutions such as safety light curtains, Panasonic also offers a large selection of safety devices: switches for safety fence doors, key select switches, emergency switches, enable grip switches. In addition, there are two safety control units available, one for general purposes and one to control safety light curtains.
SQ4 Leak Sensor
Safety liquid leak sensor, type 4
SQ4 series safety leak sensors detect leaks and thereby curb danger resulting from them. The two-part design, consisting of the sensor and the mounting bracket, simplifies installation. The sensor itself incorporates two-stage detection: a detection unit at the front of the sensor issues a warning if it comes into contact with liquid, whereas if the detection unit in the center of the sensor becomes immersed, the leak is considered critical and the sensor initiates an emergency stop.

Panasonic's new concept of connecting 6 sets of sensor heads to 1 controller in series offers you maximum flexibility to solve your safety application. Just configure exactly the number of sensor heads and controllers required to protect the area in question, e.g. small openings or irregularly shaped spaces impractical for safety light curtains.
